What we do
A method, written down, that we do not deviate from.
Most automation projects fail for the same three reasons: nobody agreed what the problem was, the scope grew quietly, and nobody could tell afterwards whether it worked. Each stage below exists to prevent one of those.
The eight stages
From first conversation to a system you own.
Fit call
30 minutes, free
We confirm the problem is real, find out who owns it internally, how urgent it is, and what evidence exists. If there is nothing worth building, this is where we say so — and that happens more often than you would expect from an agency.
Discovery
1–2 weeks, paid
We map the real process: what actually happens, how long it takes, where the handoffs are, which tools are involved and what the risks look like. Paid, because it is real work — and credited against the build if you proceed.
Scope
Written, fixed
Inputs, outputs, integrations, approval points and acceptance criteria, written down before anyone opens an editor. If it is not in the scope document, it is not in the project.
Access setup
Your accounts
We create accounts in your name and connect approved systems securely, with least-privilege access. You own the credentials from day one, not at handover.
Build
Controlled environment
Implementation happens in a separate environment from anything live. Nothing we are still working on can touch your production data.
Test
Real samples
Tested on real or anonymised examples, including the awkward edge cases. We deliberately try to break it, check the failure alerts fire, and confirm every human approval actually blocks.
Launch
Gradual
Deployed in stages, monitored, corrected. Not a switch flipped on a Friday afternoon.
Handover
Yours
Ownership, documentation, training and support options transferred to you. Accounts in your name, workflows you can read, and a written explanation of how to change things.
A worked example
What an automation actually looks like.
An enquiry-to-quote workflow, which is the most common thing we build. Hover any box to see what that step does.

Your decision
Systems
Step by step
The same journey, in words.
You
A person on your team approves price, scope, deadline and usage rights. Nothing leaves before this.
This step never moves. Every system we build has one, and we will tell you exactly where it sits before you agree to anything.
How it is built
Five layers, and one of them is the point.
People ask whether the AI will make decisions on its own. The honest answer lives in layer five: it does what the control plane permits, and nothing else.
Permissions, human approvals, logs, alerts and recovery. This is the layer that decides what the system is allowed to do on its own.
Approvals · Least privilege · Logs · Rollback
Controls
Eight things designed in before anything is built.
Human approval
Price, scope, deadline and rights always require a person.
Least privilege
The system reaches only the data it was explicitly granted.
Full logging
Every important input, output and action is recorded.
Retries & duplicates
Transient failures retry; duplicate work is blocked.
Manual fallback
If the system stops, your team can still do the work.
Separate environments
Staging and production never share data.
Monitoring & alerts
Failures and stalled approvals raise a flag.
Backup & rollback
A documented way back to the previous state.
Measuring it
The calculation we put in every proposal.
No percentages, no invented improvements. Current volume, measured time, expected change, confidence level, review date.
These are your numbers, not ours. We use the same calculation in every proposal — a conservative figure you can check, rather than a percentage we made up.

| Hours saved each month | 40 hrs |
| Loaded cost per hour | $30 |
| Monthly value | $1,200 |
| Annual labour value | $14,400 |
| Applied confidence | 70% |
If the cost of building it is higher than this number, we will tell you to reduce the scope — or not to do it at all.
Stage one is a free conversation.
